Some of these pictures are scary.
My mom’s surgery went well. She is still in pain, but relief could take as many as three weeks! I hope it comes sooner than that. The surgery looks barbaric. It included drills, radiation, and a lot of patience.

The “box” the doctor put on her head using screws. She had a local numbing agent. She should have no scars and the bandages can come off tomorrow.
