I never understood the point of this “holiday”, but it seems to come around every year. I played no pranks on my kids and none played a trick on me. I think the media had more fun with it than anyone else and I enjoy the silly news stories.
Last night my DVR was pretty much empty so I decided to watch one of the many Netflx DVDs that have been gathering dust. I watched This is Where I Leave You.
I wish I would have left it alone, it had a great cast, but was boring and choppy. I understood why I put off watching it. I was disappointed.
Tonight I did the same thing and watched The Reader.
At first I did not think I would like it and then I got sucked in. I was disturbed that the two main characters have a sexual relationship since the boy is only 15. But as the story went on and boy goes to college, they story became very intriguing. I had to find out what was going to happen next. I would actually recommend the movie.
Now I am off to read my book. I can’t wait to finish it so I can tell you all about it!
