Tonight was a good night.
I had dinner with a friend that I rarely get to sit down and catch up with. We talk for two hours and talked about everything under the sun.
When I got home I planted myself on the couch to finish Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell.
I have wanted to read this book for awhile and it did not disappoint. I cried at the end, but not for the way it ended. The characters were well developed and the story made me want more. It was refreshing to read a young adult book that was not about vampires or a dystopian society.
I love when books live up to what you hoped. I have another book by Rainbow Rowell, but I worry it won’t live up to Eleanor and Park. Dare I admit that I am excited about the movie?
