Can I just tell you how proud of myself I am?
Seriously proud!
Today was the birthday of a great friend of mine. She understands my life and always puts me in my place. I love her for that. She invited me to her birthday dinner with a bunch of people I did not know.
Now, I always freak out with situations like this. I was ready to back out. I was ready to text a lame excuse why I could not go. That is what I usually do.
I came home from my eye appointment and noticed it was too late to go to yoga. My friend has been amazing to me, so I decided that going to her birthday dinner would be better than sitting around the house.
And was it ever! I laughed, made new friends, and I made it through the dinner. I had a great time. I was sorry I had to leave!

Today was day 13 of my Photography 101 class. Today’s task was “Detail”. What the heck was I going to take a picture of? What exactly did they want? I looked around the house and finally saw it. The owl pillow on my bed was screaming “detail”! I played around with Pic Stitch and this is what I came up with.
