If I did not know better I would think I was about to give birth. I have always heard that women about to give birth start nesting and that is what I am doing. I cleaned the house, got rid of some cobwebs outside, and have been cooking up a storm!
So I had these over ripe bananas hanging around the house. I do not like bananas. I have been trying for years to develop a taste for them, but I have no luck. I keep trying and every time I fail. I did not want to throw these bananas away, so I hunted on the internet for a simple recipe that would use overripe bananas. This recipe for healthy cookies that used bananas was ridiculously simple! And they are actual called Healthy Cookies! Score!
They looked so good and I had so much hope. No luck. They were too bananay for me. Thank goodness my dad will eat anything!
Breakfast was a bust, so I decided to make soup for lunch. Mind you, it was 80 degrees here (is it me or is there something so wrong about 80 degree weather in February?) and still I wanted soup. My whole goal was to have a bowl and then freeze the rest.
Off topic, but I love my Foodsaver! I love being able to make homemade meals and pop them in the freezer. It just makes my little heart happy.
Back on topic! I made this Cream of Mushroom soup because I have made it before and I get to use my immersion blender. Love that damn thing!
The soup hit the spot! I had a dinner roll with it and I was in soup heaven! It prepared me for my adventure that is going to happen in a few hours. I cannot wait to tell you all about it!
Yup, I had to include a picture of my frozen Cream of Mushroom soup that I sealed in my Foodsaver! All I can say is AWESOME!
