My dad and I were supposed to go to Death Valley this weekend, but the plans fell through. I was very disappointed. I even cried. I wanted to spend the whole weekend in bed and I knew that would not be a good thing to do. So I decided to get my camera and go shooting.
I had heard about the Bottle Tree Ranch and decided that I was going to head that way. I did not know what to expect. I just knew that whatever happened would be better than sitting at home all day. The drive was boring. It is all desert. Every time I head north on the 15 I am so happy that I do not live in the desert.
I stopped for lunch at a recommended joint near the Bottle Tree Ranch called Cross Eyed Cow Pizza. Adorable restaurant, friendly staff, and great pizza! Normally I do not take pictures in the bathroom, but I had to share this.
This was the picture over the toilet. I knew after lunch at this place, my day could only get better. I drove a few miles down the road and found the Bottle Tree Ranch shining in the sun. I was not able to take a lot of pictures since there was a photo shoot going on but that is okay. I will be back! Here are a few of the favorites that I took.
