I watched close to three movies today. I feel a little movied out.
Movie #1 was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
Yes I have seen it a million times, but some friends and I decided that we would rematch the whole series. I will confess that I don’t think I saw the last two movies. We did not finish the movie today, but still it was as good as I remembered. Since I recently reread the book it was fun to compare the two.
Movie #2 was Birdman or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance.
I was excited to see this movie since I heard so much about it. It was Michael Keaton’s return. It was nominated for numerous Academy Awards. I found it very boring. I was so disappointed. The cast was great, but I found the story dumb. I wanted to like it. The more I watched it, the more I disliked it. Some how I made it through.
Movie #3 was Mortecai.
This was the worst of the movies today. I did not even watch the last ten minutes. Again the cast was amazing so I had hopes. I should have listened to the critics and not wasted my time. Johnny Depp could not even help this movie and that is saying something!
