I have been eating like a royal! My aunt and I went to brunch today and I had Lobster Eggs Benedict with fruit. It was delicious. The plate was small, but rich and amazing.
I was so excited about tonight, so I left San Diego after brunch. My little town of Redlands has a fabulous summer concert series at the Redlands Bowl. This summer they were showing Mary Poppins.
The play started at 8:15, but I got down there around 5:30. I walked from home so I would not have to deal with parking. Even though I was about three hours early, the seats were half packed. People in Redlands take the Redlands Bowl seriously. It would not surprise me if some people arrived at nine this morning. I had picked up dinner from Subway, so while I waited for the play to start I ate and talked to people.
I had no idea how good the play would be. The actors were all local and did the play for free. Everything was amazing about this play. The acting was good, the singing was good, the set was great, and Mary Poppins even flew! I had a fabulous time and I think I will make this an annual tradition.
