I am not going to lie. I was not excited to read O Pioneers by Willa Cather.
It was the Bookclub pick for April. I started the book reluctantly and was already cheating by reading the plot on Wikipedia. I am happy to say it was much better than I thought it would be. Don’t get me wrong! It was still slow and very boring at parts, but I was eager to get through it and see what happened to characters. The book is part of a trilogy and I might read the remaining two books.
