It was a very quiet Easter. I did some grocery shopping, laundry, and watched a few movies.
I have not watched Adventures in Babysitting in years, but it was as good as I remembered.
I wanted to be Chris (Elizabeth Shue’s character) so bad when I was a kid. I thought she was the coolest thing!
Then I tried to watch Good Night and Good Luck.
I heard so many good things about this movie and was excited to watch it. The cast was amazing! I found it boring and kept it on for background noise.
For dinner I tried a new recipe with a toy I bought a few months back. I kept hearing about zucchini noodles and I love me some zucchini. So yes, I bought a zucchini spiralizer. No shame! I found a yummy recipe online (probably from Pinterest) with asparagus and shrimp. The dish was awful…. Horrible… Disposal worthy. I worked so hard on the recipe too! I made my own pesto! But all was not lost! I will try again tomorrow with some changes to the recipe. Hopefully it will be better.
And I get to use my spiralizer again!
In case you are wondering, I had a Sesame Chicken Lean Cuisine for my Easter dinner. It was delicious!
