Today my great friend Gretchen and I drove into LA to see Jodi Picoult! She is one of my favorite authors and I always try to see her when she comes into town for an appearance. She was promoting her latest book, Leaving Time.
We waited in line to get it signed and get a picture with Jodi! I cannot wait to read the book.
The day was exciting. Gretchen and I never have a boring time when we are together.
We saw a Jurassic Park truck while driving down the freeway.
We ate lunch at P.F. Chang’s and their horses are pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I thought that was pretty neat!

I had never been to the Skirball Center, but it looks like an amazing place. It is a place i definitely return to explore!
We also explored the local bookstore, Book Soup. This is LA institution when it comes to book stores. It has been around forever and a place I have always wanted to visit. It was a great bookstore. It smelled like a bookstore, something which Barnes and Noble is always missing! The store was fun to walk around and make all stores of discoveries!
