Tomorrow the new school year officially begins. I am all ready for my new batch of students and all the excitement they will bring. The year will go quickly and I look forward to it. I am a tad nervous- new kids, new subject, new responsibilities. No matter what happens it is better than a miserable, boring summer!
As you may or may not know, The Giver is one of my all time favorite books.
I retread it every summer and each time I fall more in love with it. I just read it for probably the twentieth time and am ready for the movie opening this Friday. I am trying not to expect too much of the movie, but I hope it goes the book some justice!
