So when I bought this book I did not expect to like it as much as I did. I kept seeing it and it always intrigued me, but it scared me a bit. I had no idea that this book was based on a website by the same name. The drawings disturbed me a bit and I thought it was going to be some weird comic book. When I found the book on the buy 2, get 1 free table at Barnes and Noble, I scooped the book up.
I loved it!
As a matter of fact, I was beyond disappointed when I got the last page.
What surprised me the most, is Hyperbole and a Half actually had a chapter that screamed at me.
The author, Allie Brosh, had two chapters on depression. I felt like she was inside my head. She got me. She understood what I was going through. Never in a million years would I have thought that this book would be a book that made such an impact on me.
Wow!
