Today was a banner day for exercise. I cannot remember the last time I exercised this much. It was probably when I was in high school and I went to tennis camp!
I told myself that I need to hit the gym at least three times a week during the summer. I can come up with every excuse in the book why I cannot go to the gym, but I know it is the healthiest thing for me. So this morning, I headed to the gym and did 6.11 mies on the exercise bike. Now 6.11 miles is not a lot, but that is not the point! I made it to the gym and that is all that matters!
What really help was watching Arrested Development while biking. I have never been a big fan of sitcoms, but this show is hilarious! It is hard not to laugh out loud while at the gym. Watching a couple of episodes makes the time go by quickly. I was actually disappointed when my tome was up today. I could have peddled for a couple more hours.
What I really need to do is learn how to use the weight equipment. That just might be my second goal this summer.
My day of exercise ended with yoga class. I have not been to yoga for a few weeks and it felt amazing to be back. Why do I not go to a yoga class every day?!?!?!?
