Well… it is true.
My weekend getaway to my grandmother’s is over. Parts of it were very restful and relaxing. Other parts made me want to rip my ears off. I love spending time with my Nana. We have great conversations and I want to be with her as much as possible. She turned 89 in February and I do not know how much more time I have with her. She means so much to me that I am willing to put up with my aunt…. but not for too long. My aunt is exhausting and hard to be around.
I was happy to get home. Begonia was excited to have me back. Then she forgot about me when I presented her new scratch pad to her.
I am very happy to report that I finished a good book!
Matched by Ally Condie came high recommended. Someone said it was a combination of Divergent and The Hunger Games. It is a great description of the book. I enjoyed it and quickly read it. Young adult is the genre to read at the moment.
I have four days left of Photography 101. Day 39’s challenge was “Something Young”.
I took this picture a few years ago on Easter morning. This poor opossum mommy has at least five babies clinging to her. They were adorable and I had the hardest time not picking them up and cuddling them. My favorite is the one baby facing the wrong way. That would be me.
