Yup, I felt it!
I actually heard the rumbling before I felt it. I thought it was a big truck driving down the road. Then I felt the jolt. It only lasted a few seconds for me. Thank goodness I was far enough from the epicenter.
Where was I when the earthquake hit?
On the toilet! Where else would I be?
The earthquake hit about 50 miles west of me. There is not a lot of damage, but everyone is freaking out since the earthquake was pretty shallow. We have had a lot of shallow earthquakes recently and who knows what that means.
All I know is that I will be shopping for an earthquake kit next week. It is better to be prepared than not.
