One of my favorite lines from a movie ever!
If you have not seen Frozen, run to the theater now.
It was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. I am kicking myself that it took this long for me to go see it. It was so cute. I thought for kids it was a bit scary, but as an adult I laughed out loud numerous times. To make the movie even better, I had free movie passes and a free combo coupon. I invited a friend to come along and we had a great time.
We tried to get Thai for dinner, but the wait was too long so we ended up at Applebee’s.
Big mistake.
Huge.
Our waiter was very green but was trying his best. I give him credit and do not fault him for our bad experience. First issue, our chips were way to salty. How you expect us to enjoy the spinach-atichoke dip if we cannot taste it over the salt? Our waiter immediately brought us out new chips and all was good. Second issue, my rice was raw. Imagine taking a big bite of rice to have it crunchy. Not good! Again our waiter took my dish back to fix the problem. We were okay at this point. Third issue, the manager comes over to ask how our dinner was. We told him of our issues and he then proceeds to ask me if I went to church this morning. Umm…. what? I am pretty sure that was the look on my face. He then says that it must not be my night and walks away. I was not only appalled that we did not get an apology and an offer to fix the mistake, but that he blames it on me not going to church. Needless to say I will not be returning to Applebee’s for awhile.
Other than that adventure, my Sunday was very lazy. I walked some TV, took some naps, and finished my book. Now I have to finish my laundry and pick another book to read.
