This was taken in Santa Monica. To me, this is a true California beach picture. These lifeguard stations are everywhere along the beaches. Sorry, but I did not see David Hasselhoff or Pamela Anderson.
This was taken in Big Bear in July. I love driving up to Big Bear in the summer. In the valley it is over 100 and once you get to the lake, it is 20 degrees cooler. And of course I love the winters and playing the snow. What would I do without Big Bear?
I found this picture on my computer and I just thought it was funny. How many people put their washer and dryer on the Internet? Actually I really wanted to show off my water heater.
The crowning glory of Florida State University. This is Doak Campbell stadium in Tallahassee. The statue is of Osceola, the Seminole Indian. It is really a beautiful stadium… if only we coulds start winning again!
I took this picture a few years ago in LaJolla (near San Diego). I liked the vibrant orange flower surrounded by the green leaves. Any ideas on what type of flower it is?
I love this picture. I took it on top of the mountain in Palm Springs. What I like most about it, is that it is not what people think of when they think of Palm Springs. My cousin, Cynthia, and I rode the tram to the top and hiked for a bit.
Another tree picture. I took this one in Palm Springs during the same hike as the previous picture. I like how the tree had began to twist itself as it grew. It reminded me of a large bonsai tree.
This was taken in Forest Falls. This is Val and I’s favorite place to hike. We get snow in the winter and in the summer it is much cooler there. Up the trail a bit, there is a gorgeous waterfall.
This is actually a picture of the little river surrounding Tom Sawyer Island at Disneyland. I really like this picture. It is different view of Disney and it actually looks quite peaceful and tranquil. Most people do not even realize it is Disneyland!
