Tangfastic

What is the best way to start a day? With a Tangfastic doughnut from Voodoo Doughnuts of course!

And I got some vitamin C!!!

Today was a sigh seeing day.

The day started with a stop at an amazing picture stop of the Columbia River Gorge. The view is always breathtaking! The building in the picture is Vista House, another great picture stop.

We drove out to see all the waterfalls and to walk up Multnomah Falls.

This is a must see when visiting Portland. I have been here many times and it always takes my breath away.

The whole point of our road trip today was to see The Dalles. The best way to describe this part of Oregon is that is a desert of sorts. Hard to believe that Oregon has a desert, but this is what it looked like. No trees. No green. Not Oregon! My cousin and I actually did not even get out of the car, just turned around and started to head home.

We crossed over the to the Washington side of the Gorge and decided to do a little hike at Beacon Rock.  It felt good to stretch our legs and breathe in some fresh air.  The view from the top was beautiful.

After a long day we ate dinner at one of our favorite sushi joints, Yama Sushi and Sake Bar.  As usually I ate too much and loved every bite of it!
