Let’s try this again!

I have wanted to get this blog up and rolling again for some time and now just feels like the right time.  I am in an usual place mentally, feeling a little bit more spititually strong, and in a better place physically.  I will get into all that later.  Right now I have a lot I have to do with this blog. I am excited to get it started again.  I am going to make sure to share it with people and hopefully people will motivate me to keep the blog up.

But now it is a Sunday night and I am exhausted after an eventful weekend.  On Friday, I went to hear one of my favorite authors speak, Jen Lancaster.  If you have never read her blog or read one of her books, then you are missing out on numerous experiences to laugh out loud. I was joined by an amazing friend that makes my day brighter every time we are together.  Did I mention that I asked Jen if I could sit on her lap and take a picture… and she said yes!!!! I might share the picture with y’all one day. Saturday I started the day having breakfast with another fabulous friend and her amazing kids (they showered me with hugs and I love when the youngest calls me “Mantha”) and ended the day having dinner with friends. Today I finally made it to the Kimberly Crest mansion after having living less than five miles from it for the past ten years. Kimberly Crest was absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait to go back in the Spring. I met with a Meetup.com group for this adventure and met some wonderful people. With as busy as my weekend was, I was able to take some naps with Begonia and get some reading done.

Now readers, I am giving you a job.

Ummm…. What?  I can hear you all saying that you just got here and now I am giving you a job?

Yup!

When I am in poopy mood, feeling down on myself and that the world is out to get me, please remind me of this post.  This fabulous weekend is proof that my life is better than I remember it be at times.
